Levels of Life Satisfaction in the Past, Present and Future

Many women were a little reluctant to answer the question relating to past, present, and future life satisfaction—at least initially. Women would remark that one can hardly even depend on the breath that one inhales and exhales (nishvasre kichi vishwas nahi), so how can one talk about the future. Others would preface their answers by saying: Why do you ask such questions? What can we say but that humans survive on hope—what else keeps us alive?
